Photography, for me, is the search for order hidden within chaos.
Whether I'm walking through Tokyo, standing beneath a skyscraper in Berlin, or watching the last light disappear over a coastline, I'm drawn to the moments where light, geometry, and perspective align. These fleeting compositions often exist for only a second before they disappear again.
My work focuses on architecture, urban environments, landscapes, and the subtle relationships between form, shadow, and color. Rather than simply documenting places, I aim to reveal patterns and visual harmony that often go unnoticed.
The photographs that stay with me are the ones that draw you in. The ones where, for a moment, you can almost feel the air, the silence, or the movement of the place. When an image captures the atmosphere so faithfully that it transports you back to that exact moment, I know I've succeeded. That feeling is what I strive for every time I pick up a camera.
Outside of photography, I'm inspired by many of the same ideas in other forms. I have a deep appreciation for Japan and the unique blend of tradition and modernity found throughout the country. Berlin, the city I call home, constantly fuels my curiosity with its architecture, culture, and contrasts. I also enjoy painting and carpentry—two crafts that, much like photography, reward patience, attention to detail, and an appreciation for composition.
Geometry of Lights is an ongoing collection of these observations—a visual exploration of structure, balance, atmosphere, and the quiet beauty found in everyday spaces.
